Click here if you would like to view some of the recipes included in the classes. *COMING SOON* - How Does YOUR Garden Grow? –Have you just starting out with gardening? Are you ready to take your garden patch to the next level? Perhaps you are interested in a more eco-friendly garden? In this class we will discuss planting techniques that reduce the need for weeding and eliminate the need for chemicals. Gardening doesn’t need to take hours upon hours of backbreaking labor! Learn how to use companion planting, composting, rain barrels, attract beneficial insects, and incorporate native plants to help create a sustainable ecosystem that is full of beauty and green goodness! *COMING SOON* - Grow Herbs, Give Gifts - Give gifts year round with herbs from your garden. Tips on raising herbs will be covered and we will discuss techniques for making a variety of herb-based crafts for your own use or to give as unique and classy gifts. This class will include a lavender eye mask project that participants will make and take home. Participants will also receive a handout with detailed instructions on all craft projects profiled as well as resources for obtaining supplies. The class will include:
*COMING SOON* - Herbalicious Holiday Meals – The holidays are coming! And what better way to your family’s hearts than through their stomachs? Toss out the gravy mix and nix the Stove Top stuffing! This year, make the holidays special by using one or more of the following recipes: Chicken w/mushroom sage sauce, prosciutto wrapped sweet potatoes, savory bay rice, bread stuffing, and sweet sage cookies. Bring your appetite, during this two-hour class you will get to sample these dishes that will delight your taste buds and change the way you cook Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Positive and Effective Parenting (PEP) Series - No more fighting, no more punishing, learn to give/get respect, establish boundaries and forge a strong parent/child relationship.
