Emily helps to harvest the Bluestar (amsonia illustris) seeds.
I actively practice companion planting and I am pesticide free on all of my flowers, herbs and 'crops.' I use the following resources as guides: "Carrots Love Tomatoes" and "Roses Love Garlic" by Louise Riotte to plan my gardens for maximum efficiency, beauty, and ease in gardening. Gardening can and should be a relaxing endeavor, and nearly all the plants I have are 'plant it and walk away' varieties, suitable for the most inattentive of gardeners! I am currently quadrupling my growing capacity in 2009, mainly for vegetable and fruit plants, but I will also be expanding my herb and flower offerings over the next couple of years. Check back often, as I will be posting new and different seeds for sale as they become available.
I often blog about my gardening adventures under my organizing blog. Click here and review entries to see how easy it can be to garden organically, raise herbs, fruits and vegetables fresh for your table, and much, much more!
In 2010 I am hosting several Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme classes in my home. See firsthand how to cultivate fresh herbs as well as a variety of flowers, fruit trees, and edibles. We will also cook a meal, hands on, and enjoy a leisurely meal. You will have the opportunity to take home a potted plant or seeds at the end of class. Interested? Click on Classes & Events for more details!

Like the photos? Check back for more photos of our gardens at all times of the year. I will try to regularly update these photos...hmmm...maybe I'll start another blog.
All seeds for sale are collected and packaged by hand from my garden. Nearly all of the collection are perennials, which are easy to grow and return year after year. I live in zone 6, just south of Kansas City, Missouri. I list the estimated amount of seeds per packet, but often there are many more in the packet than listed. My prices are well below retail but they do contain some plant matter (I'm doing this by hand, folks!) that does not affect quality in any way. All orders are shipped to you free of shipping charges. You are getting a great deal for your money. Enjoy and happy gardening!
