The EDIP™ Coaching Model

 

Coaching is a process and while every client's needs are different, and each call unique, a basic process remains. This process is often referred to as the coaching model. In order to effect a more cohesive life change, business development, or accomplishment of your goals it helps to follow a process of sorts. Through my studies, my own life, and dealing with my coaching clients I found that this process resolved into a coaching model I call EDIP™.

Examine - What is going on in my life or my business? What's working? What's not?

Define - What is my vision of success (personally, professionally)? What are my needs in regards to money, relationships, business/career, education and personal fulfillment?

Identify - What specific goals do I want to tackle right now? What actions do I need to take to accomplish them?

Proceed - Begin to make progress towards my goals. Take action. Begin to accomplish major and/or sub-goals.

As the client/coach relationship continues, we process through the model and continue to Examine, Define, Identify and Proceed as the client's goal evolve and change. You will learn gain valuable tools that will enable you to continue this process long after the client/coach relationship has ended.
