This perennial water iris is beautiful and easy to grow. Scarify the seeds slightly and place in potting mix. Once the plant emerges, submerge the pot in a shallow area of your pond and step back. This plant grows steadily throughout the growing season and will produce seed pods in its second year of growth.
Collect the seed pods as I did, and 'overwinter' the seeds in your refrigerator to promote new growth in the spring.
